The visitors can reach the area from Athens either by plane via the airports of Chania or Iraklio, or by boat from the port of Piraeus to the port of Souda or Iraklio. Then, they should travel by car/ bus to Rethymno and from there they have to take the road for Agia Galini and turn towards the village Akoumia (40th km) and after that follow the road to Triopetra (11 km).
